This lake is located in the wonderful Green Mountains. Lime Pond gets a typical amount of yearly precipitation; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. The scenery at Lime Pond Dam near Lime Pond is wonderful; the Moose Trail is a good hiking trail close by. High temperatures at Lime Pond throughout the warm days of summer are in the 70's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.
