Lily Pond commonly gets much rain; November is the wettest month with most rain; January on the other hand is the driest. The Catamount Trail is a great hiking trail next to Lily Pond; in the event that you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Concord River. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is glorious       here at Lily Pond, you can go for a hike along the Broken Boulder Smith Pond Trail; after a long day outdoors Salem Red Roof Inn is a delightful location to spend a night or two. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn SALEM (I-93 AT EXIT 2), and a lake nearby is Hunt Pond. This place, Lily Pond, it simply has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. Going for a hike along the Campground Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and Little                  Suncook is a glorious whitewater spot nearby. Really wonderful skiing awaits you at Bradford; Phillips Pond is a nearby lake that you could go to. During your spree to Lily Pond you'll meet some folks from Boston-Cambridge-Quincy for sure. This lake is so wonderful. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby McIntyre. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Lily Pond has to offer, you can camp at Silver Sands Camping Area. During the warmest time of the year, highs usually are in the 80's at Lily Pond. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's.
