Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lily Pond; Marlboro Trail is a great local trail; there are other sites here than Lily Pond, for example Beaver Wood Pond. This lake is so wonderful. You get a splendid view of Pratts Rock from Lily Pond. Enjoy a round of golf at Hooper Golf Club not far from Lily Pond, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Cold River. If you came to camp Surry Mountain       Camp Ground is a splendid place to do that; folks from Keene love to come here. Good hiking is available along the Futures Trail, and if you need a place to stay Motel Westminster is a good choice. If you want a delightful time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Lily Pond. Dry warm beds await you at Everyday Inn; why not take a refreshing hike along the Farmers Trail. Throughout the warm months at Lily Pond highs are frequently in the 80's. Once                  the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 20's while Lily Pond overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the 0's. The snow is magnificent at Ascutney, and camping at Hilltop Camp is always a glorious experience.
