A lake nearby is Silver Lake, and going for a hike along the Hammond Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. Just can't get enough of Lily Pond. If you came to camp Gitchee Gumee Campgrounds is a glorious location to do that; after a long day outdoors Merrill Farm Resort is a splendid location to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Lily Pond that you need to       camp here for a while, Bearcamp River Campground is a tremendous place for that, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Lovell River. Lily Pond is one of the lakes here in the White Mountains. So many fun things to do at Lily Pond, so little time. Lily Pond sees pretty high levels of precipitation; November is the month that gets the most rain while September is commonly the driest month.                  All through the summer at Lily Pond temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's; overnight lows at Lily Pond throughout the winter commonly sink into the 0's. Hiking along the Piper Trail is glorious fun, and hey, Gotta ski right? Cranmore Mountain is a nice location to do that. And that's not everything there is to do here in the White Mountains.
