But wait, there's more to do in the vicinity of Lily Pond. While you're here at Lily Pond, you could also visit pretty Saltmarsh Pond; why not take a refreshing hike along the Ridge Trail. A day on the slopes of Gunstock is just what you need, and if you want to hit the beach, Gilford Beach is in the neighborhood. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. A round of golf at       nearby Pheasant Ridge Country Club is a good way to kill some time, and a nice nearby hotel is The Summit Resort. All the water falling down from the sky makes Lily Pond a wet site; the month with most of the rain is November; February is the month with the least moisture.
