Band M Ledge is a splendid place to take a look at while in the area; the White Horse Trail offers hiking at its best. You don’t have to go far from Ledge Pond to make out the water at Little Pea Porridge Pond Dam; at Ledge Pond you can spot Bald Hill. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Red Ridge Trail, and you can stay the night at Eastern Slope Camping Area. Summer at Ledge Pond comes with high temperatures in the 80's.       When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's; throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Ledge Pond temperatures fall to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Ledge Pond has to offer, you can camp at Pine Knoll Camp Ground and RV Resort; do visit Banfield Brook since you're here at Ledge Pond. Ledge Pond sees pretty high levels of precipitation;                  November is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is September. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Ledge Pond. Hit the slopes at King Pine in close proximity. And that's not all the things you can do here in the White Mountains. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at close by Tight Pond, and whitewater paddling is tremendous on Saco River - East Branch. Cranmore Mountain has nice slopes and a friendly staff; hiking is a popular thing to do around Ledge Pond; White Ledge Trail is a brilliant local trail.
