Leavitt Pond is always a pleasure to visit. The yearly precipitation here at Leavitt Pond is about average; August is the month that gets the most rain while February is commonly the driest month. Camping at Mascoma Lake Campground is always a splendid experience, and Millar Pond Dam is a pretty place. Head up to Mount Sunapee and strap some skis to your feet. Whaleback is a very popular ski area in the neighborhood, and hiking along the West Ridge Trail

| | is pleasant fun. Throughout the long summer days at Leavitt Pond temperatures are ordinarily in the 70's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 20's, and overnight lows in the-10's for Leavitt Pond. This lake is so wonderful. some glorious whitewater; Methodist Hill is a peak you can distinguish from Leavitt Pond. This is a popular site for people from Lebanon, and Lebanon Days Inn is a magnificent spot to get some rest. So much exciting stuff near Leavitt
Pond, definitely amazing. A wonderful lake like Millar Pond right next door to Leavitt Pond is a fine site to visit, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Dartmouth Outing Club Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike
