Dam is not far at all from Lake Winnepocket. Lake Winnepocket is a good location of normal rainfall; the month with most of the rain is May, and January is the month with the least moisture. The Wilmot Trail is a delightful hiking
trail close to Lake Winnepocket, and a quick spree to Frazier Brook is certainly a great idea. Head up to Ragged Mountain and strap some skis to your feet, and Contoocook River is a pleasant whitewater spot nearby. You simply
must go for Lake Winnepocket. There's so much to do here at Lake Winnepocket that you need to camp here for a while, Cold Brook Campground is a fine site for that, and Lake Winnepocket is not the only site close by, Pleasant Pond
is a close by lake. High temperatures at Lake Winnepocket through the days of summer are in the 80's. Summer night lows sink down to the 50's. Through the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's
overnight here at Lake Winnepocket. This lake is so wonderful. A lake close by is Lake Winnepocket, and a splendid site for whitewater paddling is Blackwater River.
