There's so much to do here at Lake Winnepocket that you need to camp here for a while, Sandy Beach Family Campground is a splendid location for that, and a swamp like Knights Meadow Marsh right next door to Lake Winnepocket has lots of out of the ordinary things to see. You're sure to come across some wonderful folks from Concord here; after a long day outdoors Tall Pines Cottages is a great location to spend a night or two. but if it's for you then, we recommend Contoocook River. Near Lake Winnepocket you stumble on the Melton Falls Trail which is a great hiking trail, and you're probably hooked on lakes, Knights Meadow Marsh Reservoir is one of
those close by. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable things at Lake Winnepocket. There is a delightful hiking trail near Lake Winnepocket called the Old Country Road. High temperatures at Lake Winnepocket
all through the summer are in the 80's with night lows in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's, and nighttime lows all through the wintertime for Lake Winnepocket tend to be in the 0's. An average amount of precipitation
falls at Lake Winnepocket; most of the rain falls throughout May, and the driest of the months is January. There are some perfect whitewater spots on Blackwater River, and hey, Gotta ski right? Ragged Mountain is a great site to do that.
