    Lake Waukewan is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. For the period of the days of summer here at Lake Waukewan, high temperatures frequently reach the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. Highs during the winter are mostly in the 20's with temperatures at Lake Waukewan dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. If you're looking for a beach near Lake Waukewan, we recommend Endicott  
   Park Beach, and you can stay the night at Provident winnipesaukee Campground. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors entertaining things the White Mountains has to offer. If you get bored of Lake Waukewan, you could also visit nearby Meredith Reservoir, and folks from Laconia love to come here.
This spot rocks, just look at all the entertaining things to do close to Lake Waukewan. If the weather is glorious here at Lake Waukewan, you can go for a hike
 
               along the Butterworth Trail, and do stop by Lake Waukewan Dam if you're here. Golf can be played at Waukewan Golf Club; The Summit Resort is a tremendous spot to get some rest. Lake Waukewan is a tremendous place to visit for more than one day, Harbor Hill Camping Area is a tremendous place to camp nearby, and Gunstock is a very popular ski area nearby.
Having a splendid time in the White Mountains is simple. A perfect nearby hotel is The Inns & Spa at Mill Falls; you acquire a perfect sight of Gillman Hill from here. This lake is located in the wonderful White Mountains. Any time is a magnificent time at Lake Waukewan if you go for the outdoors. If you come at the right time of year, Beebe River offers some wonderful whitewater, and Lake Waukewan is not the only place nearby, Lake Waukewan is a nearby lake.
This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Winnipesaukee River, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Tenney Mountain. But wait, there's more fun stuff to do in the White Mountains. Going for a hike along the Rattlesnake Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. This lake is so wonderful. Enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Center Harbor Town Beach; the Pasture Trail is a pleasant hiking trail nearby.
A lot of precipitation falls at Lake Waukewan; November is when you get the most rain here; February meanwhile is the driest month.

I ski there almost every day of the winter. Ive been snowboarding there for 8 years. They acualy have 6 trails with over 20 acres of riding, and 2 rope tows. They have a 1000,and a 150 ft rope tow. They have a small asortment of freestyle terain and snowmaking.

I went to this mountain with my school and it was a really fun expiernce and I am planning to go back with my school some time soon.......R-Pacific, an affiliate of Pacific Group. Since then, total acreage has increased to 2,000 and plans call for 65 further acres of slopes.
Upon acquiring the mountain property, the new owners invested over $2 million into the resort for renovations including 14,000 feet of new snow making pipe, 25 new energy efficient snow guns, new snow groomers, a new Wonder carpet lift for beginners, chairlift improvements including reviving lift service to Spear Mountain, base lodge renovations including new carpet, the repair of steps and outside brick walkways, the addition of seasonal lockers and an outdoor fire pit, and adding two new restaurants.
The renovations did not stop there. In 2008, Ragged Mountain announced the addition of a new upscale dining establishment, additional snow-making capacity, and three all new terrain parks including one of the only all natural terrain parks in the East.
