For the period of the days of summer here at Lake Waukewan, high temperatures frequently reach the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. Highs during the winter are mostly in the 20's with temperatures at Lake Waukewan dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. If you're looking for a beach near Lake Waukewan, we recommend Endicott       Park Beach, and you can stay the night at Provident winnipesaukee Campground. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors entertaining things the White Mountains has to offer. If you get bored of Lake Waukewan, you could also visit nearby Meredith Reservoir, and folks from Laconia love to come here. This spot rocks, just look at all the entertaining things to do close to Lake Waukewan. If the weather is glorious here at Lake Waukewan, you can go for a hike                  along the Butterworth Trail, and do stop by Lake Waukewan Dam if you're here. This lake is located in the wonderful White Mountains. Any time is a magnificent time at Lake Waukewan if you go for the outdoors. If you come at the right time of year, Beebe River offers some wonderful whitewater, and Lake Waukewan is not the only place nearby, Lake Waukewan is a nearby lake. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Winnipesaukee River, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Tenney Mountain. But wait, there's more fun stuff to do in the White Mountains. Going for a hike along the Rattlesnake Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. This lake is so wonderful. Enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Center Harbor Town Beach; the Pasture Trail is a pleasant hiking trail nearby.
