If you're interested in hydro structures, you can stop by Lake Warren Dam, and glide down the rapids of Ashuelot River in a kayak. So much fun stuff to do at Lake Warren, so little time. After a long day outdoors E.F. Lane Hotel is a splendid spot to spend a night or two; since you're here you will meet lots of people from close by Keene. If you need a location to stay       Holiday Inn Express Keene, Nh is a good choice, and Camp Brook is near Lake Warren and is always a delight to have a look at. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Cold River is so much fun; Beaver Wood Pond is a nearby lake that you could stop at.
