This lake is so wonderful. Prentice Hill is clearly visible from Lake Warren, and camping at Lake Warren is pleasant fun, Surry Mountain Camp Ground is a pleasant local campground. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Lake Warren. During the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's with temperatures at Lake Warren dipping down into the 0's all through winter nights.       Lake Warren is right by the Marlboro Trail, and get wet paddling on Ashuelot River. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Warren Dam is an interesting thing to check out, and the Monadnock Sunapee Trail offers hiking at its best. Lake Warren gets a typical amount of yearly precipitation; the wettest month of the year is typically August, that's the one that rains the most, and February on the other hand is the driest. Whitewater paddling is brilliant on Cold River,                  of course you could also stop by Beaver Wood Pond while you're here; it's not far at all. If you came for an overnight stay Hilltop Camp is a good place to camp, and if you're visiting from Keene, you won't be the only one. Dry warm beds await you at E F Lane Hotel, and hey, Camp Brook is a glorious local stream. Any time is a delightful time at Lake Warren if you love the outdoors.
