A visit to Lake Sunapee is always a good idea. State Park Beach is right next door to Lake Sunapee if you're in a beach type of mood, and you can go for a hike on the Monadnock Sunapee Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the West Ridge Trail, and Lake Sunapee Dam is lovely. Loon Lake Campground is a pleasant place for that. After a long day outdoors Lebanon Days Inn is a fine site to spend a night or two, and lakes are such serene places, why not stop by Sunapee Lake. This place, Lake Sunapee, it completely
has so much outdoors fun stuff. Sugar River is a delightful whitewater spot near Lake Sunapee, and don't leave Lake Sunapee without first going for a hike along the Wilmot Trail. The amount of precipitation that falls at Lake
Sunapee is close to the national average; most of the rain falls through August while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Mount Sunapee, and if you want to hit the beach, Dewey Beach is nearby.

The renovations did not stop there.
