     The White Mountains scenery is always beautiful. So many amusing things to do in the White Mountains, not enough time. If you're here at Lake Gloriette, you could explore Cascade Brook, and Lake Gloriette is a tremendous place to visit for more than one day, Ramblewood Cabins and Campground is a tremendous place to camp nearby. You could also have a look at Lake Gloriette since you're here at Lake Gloriette; it's nearby, and in the event that you don't mind  
   getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Mohawk River.
This site, the White Mountains, has so much outdoors enjoyable things. You'll meet a lot of folks from Berlin here; Androscoggin River has a perfect whitewater paddling spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. And if that's not sufficient, there's lots more to do right next door to Lake Gloriette. Lake Gloriette Dam is a spot that is near Lake Gloriette, and Abeniki Mountain is painless
 
               to spot from Lake Gloriette.
Lake Gloriette gets a common amount of annual rain; the wettest month of the year is frequently August, that's the one that rains the most; the driest of the months is February. Balsams Wilderness is a very popular ski area in the neighborhood, and if you're into cool geologic characteristics try The Flume. This lake is so wonderful. Log Haven Campground is a nice local campground; if you've had enough of Lake Gloriette, Lake Abeniki is close by.
Through the warm days of summer at Lake Gloriette highs are usually in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and overnight lows throughout the winter for Lake Gloriette tend to be in the-10's.

Cedar Pond

I spent most of my summers growing up at cedar pond.We had our camp there and I remember the penny candy at the red and white striped store and the dog inky. There was also a dog named cedar that would visit all the camps in search of food. The lake would be freezing even in August and when we had to start a fire in the furnace the only wood we had to burn was obviously cedar and the smell was wonderful. And though the ''camp'' my Pepere had is no longer there, the wonderful memories are....
