Summertime at Lake Francis arrives with high temperatures in the 70's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. Highs through the winter are usually in the 20's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Lake Francis temperatures drop to the-10's. If only every place had this much outdoors fun stuff, what a great       world it would be. During your spree to Lake Francis you'll meet some folks from Berlin for sure. Lake Francis gets a normal amount of precipitation; August is the month that gets the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Francis is not the only place close by, Middle Pond is a close by lake, and a splendid location to camp here at Lake Francis is Mountain View Cabins and Campground. It's a good idea to go to Back Lake                  Brook, it's in the neighborhood of Lake Francis, and Balsams Wilderness has tremendous slopes and a friendly staff.
