Now, you may imagine that's a lot but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Ladd Pond. If you're a golfer then a brilliant close by course is Colebrook Country Club Motel, and the skiing at Balsams Wilderness is perfect. Here at Ladd Pond you'll most likely meet some folks from Berlin, and a brilliant swamp near Ladd Pond is Hurlbert Swamp. Throughout the summertime months highs       here at Ladd Pond get into the 70's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Ladd Pond. Cedar Brook is a splendid place to go to, and whitewater paddling is fine on Mohawk River. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Ladd Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Mountain View Cabins and Campground is a splendid location for that, and if you need a spot to stay Coos Motor Inn is a pleasant choice.
