For the period of the months of summer here at Ladd Pond, high temperatures commonly reach the 70's, and the nighttime is a tad colder of course, ordinarily in the 50's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 20's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Ladd Pond temperatures descend to the-10's. If you like swamps, you're in luck, Hurlbert Swamp is right nearby, and after a long day outdoors Coos Motor       Inn is a brilliant site to spend a night or two. Do pop by Lombard Pond near Ladd Pond, it's a gorgeous lake, and Ladd Pond is a great site to visit for more than one day, Hidden Acres Campground is a great site to camp nearby. From a precipitation point of view Ladd Pond is a relatively normal site; through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. The slopes of Balsams Wilderness                  are so inviting noone can resist, and if you're a golfer then a splendid close by course is Colebrook Country Club Motel. Collins Hill can be observed from Ladd Pond, and the wonderful people of Berlin like to hang out close by. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors amusing stuff the area in the vicinity of Ladd Pond has to offer. Get your heart pumping on the perfect whitewater of Mohawk River; since you're here, you could also stop by striking Matthews Pond. This lake is so wonderful.
