Knowles Pond is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Knowles Pond is a wet place that gets a great deal of precipitation; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is January. You're almost certainly hooked on lakes, Coffin Pond is one of those close by; if you're looking for a beach close by we recommend Bass Beach. You can never get enough of the delightful skiing at Bradford.

| | Through the warmest time of the year at Knowles Pond highs are generally in the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's; night lows in the 10's for Knowles Pond. This lake is so wonderful. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Knowles Pond. Here at Knowles Pond you can make out Barton Hill; Black Rock Creek is a swamp
right next door to Knowles Pond. Camping at Shel-Al Camping Area is always a nice experience; if you need a site to stay Lamies Inn is a great choice. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Great Works River; a fine place to camp here
at Knowles Pond is Shel-al Mobile Estate.
This lake is so wonderful. This is a pleasant area for folks who like lakes. Taylor River Reservoir is a lake in the vicinity, and you can always enjoy a lazy day on the beach at North Hampton Beach.
