This lake is so wonderful. Some of the water nearby flows, like Halfmoon Pond Brook, and everyone close by loves skiing at Ragged Mountain. You don’t have to go far from Kilton Pond to catch a sight of the water at Kilton Pond Dam; a magnificent close by hotel is Lamplighter Motor Inn. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the White Mountains. Soar down the rapids of Fowler River       in a kayak; you can have a wonderful hiking adventure along the West Ridge Trail. From a precipitation point of view Kilton Pond is a pretty common site; August is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is February. The slopes of Whaleback are so inviting nobody can resist. This place is peerless, just explore all the amusing stuff to do next to Kilton Pond. If the weather is tremendous here at Kilton Pond, you can go for a hike along the Clark                  Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Baker River - South Branch offers some great whitewater. There's so much to do here at Kilton Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Baker River Campground is a glorious location for that, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at close by Mud Pond. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Kilton Pond has to offer, you can camp at Crescent Campsites, and Isinglass Mountain is gorgeous and can be made out from here. Kilton Pond is a beautiful lake in the White Mountains. All the outdoors cool things in the White Mountains will keep you coming back over and over. If you need a place to stay Chris Bottinger Cottages is a pleasant choice, and going for a hike along the Mowglis Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity.
