Kilback Pond is one of the lakes here in the White Mountains. Androscoggin River has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby, and the skiing at Balsams Wilderness is nice.

Jefferson Campground is a great place to camp. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Kilback Pond. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and overnight lows throughout the wintertime
for Kilback Pond tend to be in the-10's.
