Get yourself into a kayak and hit Smarts Brook, and you can stay the night at Bethel woods Campground. Kiah Pond is one of the lakes here in the White Mountains. If you want a perfect time in the great outdoors just come on up to the White Mountains. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Silver Fox Inn; what would winter be without some skiing at Loon Mountain.       Yep, outdoors fun stuff truly is bountiful here in the White Mountains. During your visit to Kiah Pond you'll meet some folks from Laconia for sure; from Kiah Pond you acquire a perfect view of Black Mountain. There are some magnificent whitewater spots on Beebe River, and if you're a golfer then a wonderful nearby course is Waterville Valley Golf Course. Kiah Pond gets a typical amount of annual rainfall; through August this area sees the most rain, and February                  on the other hand is the driest. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Kiah Pond with night lows in the 50's. High temperatures all through the wintertime are normally in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Kiah Pond are in the 0's. Going for a hike on the Black Mountain Pond Trail is always a good adventure. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Algonquin Trail, and scenic scenery and delightful skiing is what you get at Tenney Mountain. If you need a place to stay Rodeway Inn Moultonborough is a great choice. There's so much to do here at Kiah Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Branch Brook Fourseason Campground is a glorious location for that. If only every spot had this much outdoors fun things, what a great planet it would be.
