This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Jonathan Pond you obtain some splendid water scenery at Upper Ammonoosuc Dam, and why not a little side trip to Potter Brook. The Shore Trail is a great hiking trail close to Jonathan Pond, and lakes are such serene sites, why not visit Upper Amonoosuc River Reservoir.       Whohoo, so many fun things in one place! Jonathan Pond is excellent! Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Israel River; why not camp at Connolly Cabins if you're here at Jonathan Pond. During the months of summer, highs ordinarily are in the 70's at Jonathan Pond, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Through the winter highs are mostly in the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here                  at Jonathan Pond. Jonathan Pond gets a typical amount of rain; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain; the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. Roger's Campground is a glorious local campground; if you need a location to stay Coos Motor Inn is a perfect choice. Everybody close by loves skiing at Balsams Wilderness; on a perfect day you can take a hike along the Moose Trail. If the weather is wonderful here at Jonathan Pond, you can go for a hike along the Mount Cabot Trail; you can catch a glimpse of Bag Hill from Jonathan Pond. All the outdoors cool things in the neighborhood of Jonathan Pond will keep you coming back repeatedly. Upper Ammonoosuc River Reservoir is a fine lake close to Jonathan Pond.
