You don’t have to go far from Jonathan Pond to catch a sight of the water at Upper Ammonoosuc Dam, and don't leave Jonathan Pond without       first going for a hike along the Shore Trail. But wait, there's more to do near Jonathan Pond. Head up to Bretton Woods and strap some skis to your feet, and a delightful close by hotel is Lancaster Motor Inn. Just can't get enough of Jonathan Pond. If you came for an overnight stay Connolly Cabins is a magnificent spot to camp. This lake is so wonderful. Lots of people from Berlin come to Jonathan Pond, and there are other sites here than Jonathan Pond, for                  example Upper Ammonoosuc River Reservoir. Lakes are such peaceful places, why not pop by Upper Amonoosuc River Reservoir near Jonathan Pond, and it's a glorious idea to pop by Potter Brook. You can run the rapids of Israel River in close proximity to Jonathan Pond, and you can go for a hike on the Moose Trail. There are delightful sites to look at along the Mount Cabot Trail; Bag Hill is delightful and can be distinguished from here. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Balsams Wilderness, and if you need a place to stay Coos Motor Inn is a magnificent choice. This lake is so wonderful. Upper Ammonoosuc River - West Branch is a wonderful whitewater spot close to Jonathan Pond; Roger's Campground is a fine campground nearby.
