You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the White Mountains has to offer. The snow is brilliant at Black Mountain, and hiking along the Bog Dam Trail is magnificent fun. A good close
by hotel is Royalty Inn; Jericho Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, White Birches Mountain Camping Park is a nice local campground. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Androscoggin River for all you adrenaline
rush seekers, and you're probably addicted to lakes, Cedar Pond is one of those nearby.
Jericho Lake is right by the Jericho Trail, and you can run the rapids of Upper Ammonoosuc River - West Branch.
