A visit to Jericho Lake is always a good idea. Whohoo, so much cool stuff in one place! The White Mountains is peerless! There are some magnificent whitewater spots on Upper Ammonoosuc River - West Branch. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Black Mountain, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Bog Dam Trail. This lake is so wonderful. There's pleasant hiking along the Jericho Trail. You'll need more than a day to explore everything

Through the warm months at Jericho Lake highs are usually in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Jericho Lake descend into the 0's. Now, you may believe that's loads but there's even more exciting stuff to do here in the White Mountains. Wildcat is a very popular ski area nearby, and if you come at the right time of year, Androscoggin
River offers some splendid whitewater. This lake is one of the great places here in the White Mountains. Jericho Lake is a good site of typical precipitation; August is the wettest month with most rain, and February is when it's the driest.
