Many people like to go to James Pond. The White Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Just can't get enough of the White Mountains. If you're here at James Pond, checking out Weetamoo Rock is a must, and Wonalancet has a glorious whitewater paddling spot nearby. Throughout the long summer days here at James Pond, high temperatures mostly get into the 50's, and the nighttime is somewhat chillier of course, ordinarily in the 40's. trail. This lake is so wonderful. A splendid nearby hotel is Sky Valley Motel And Cottages, and tremendous skiing awaits you at Cranmore Mountain. Skiing at Attitash Bear Peak is one of those things you just ought to do, and whitewater
paddling is tremendous on Bearcamp River. On a great day at James Pond you can take a hike along the Hammond Trail; you obtain a splendid view of Bald Mountain from here. James Pond is a relatively wet place usually with a large
amount of precipitation; November is the month that gets the most snow while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
