It's always fun to stop by Jackson Pond. This lake is so wonderful. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because White MTN Country Club is in close proximity, and you can stay the night at Squam Lakes Camp Resorts. Man, is there loads of entertaining things to do next to Jackson Pond. An average amount of rain falls at Jackson Pond; all through May this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is January.

| | at its best; if you get bored of Jackson Pond you could also stop by close by Little Squam Lake. A fine close by hotel is Red Roof Inn & Suites Plymouth, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Mad River. And that's not all there is to do here in the White Mountains. The skiing at Tenney Mountain is tremendous, and you can take a little visit to Hawkins Pond Dam since you're here at Jackson Pond.

lake in the White Mountains. So many exciting things in the White Mountains, just unbelievable. The summit of Beech Hill can be made out from Jackson Pond, and Jackson Pond is not far at all from Laconia. This lake is so wonderful.
Why not take a refreshing hike along the Prospect Trail; if you come at the right time of year, Beebe River offers some glorious whitewater.
If you need a site to stay The Inns & Spa at Mill Falls is a brilliant choice, and Gunstock
is a pleasant local ski area. High temperatures at Jackson Pond through the summertime are in the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are mostly in the 20's with winter
lows in the 0's overnight here at Jackson Pond. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Take a hike on the Mount Morgan Trail, and Ames Brook Campground is a pleasant campground nearby.
