Here at Jacks Pond you can see Skatutakee Mountain, unsurprisingly you could also take a look at Shadrach Pond while you're here; it's not far at all. High temperatures at Jacks Pond all through the summer are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Jacks Pond are in the 0's. This lake       is so wonderful. On a pleasant day at Jacks Pond you can take a hike along the Parker Trail, and the slopes of Mount Sunapee are so inviting noone can resist. There's so much to do here at Jacks Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Field'n Forest Recreation Area is a delightful site for that; Jacks Pond is a place with many visitors from Keene. Jacks Pond gets a normal amount of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is mostly August, that's                  the one that rains the most while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Sovereign Hotel; while you're here and you like golf, you can stop by Monadnock Country Club. And if you're still looking for more outdoors enjoyable things just keep reading. Contoocook River has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby; there is a perfect hiking trail nearby called the Cascade Link Trail. Everybody close by loves skiing at Crotched Mountain, and if the weather is wonderful, you can go for a hike along the Pumpelly Trail. In case you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Contoocook River - North Branch, and if you came to camp Seven Maples Campground is a delightful spot to do that.
