If you came to camp Howe's Camping is a wonderful site to do that; since you're here, you could stop by Binney Hill Brook. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Island Pond, you could also stop by gorgeous Mill Pond; there's always Stump Pond Dam to go to next to Island Pond. All through the months of summer highs here at Island Pond get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are usually in the 30's

Stump Pond is a nearby lake that you could pop by, and dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Gardner. Swallow Hill is wonderful and can be made out from Island Pond, and Colonial Hotel is a glorious spot to get some rest. You can never get enough of the delightful skiing at Wachusett Mountain, and camping at Woodmore Campground
is always a fine experience. Whohoo, so many fun things in one place! Island Pond is so good! Here at Island Pond you'll possibly meet some folks from Manchester-Nashua; nearby you hit upon the Parker Trail which is a great hiking
trail. If you come at the right time of year, Stony Brook offers some great whitewater, and why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Winchendon Country Club. Drift down the rapids of Contoocook River in a
kayak, and the Wapack Trail is a glorious hiking trail close by. This lake is so wonderful. Really pleasant skiing awaits you at Crotched Mountain, and going for a hike on the Harling Trail is always a wonderful adventure.
