If you are in Carroll county it's always a good idea to stop by Iona Lake. Some of the water close by flows, like Meadow Brook, and you can hit the slopes at Attitash Bear Peak in the neighborhood. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Iona Lake; Carter Ledge Trail is a wonderful local trail, and glide down the rapids of Swift River in a kayak. If you go for the outdoors, you'll fancy Iona Lake. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Lovell River.

| | fine; Upper Pequawket Pond is a lake that's right next door to Iona Lake; some out of the ordinary geology is available here, White Ledge is right here. This lake is one of the great places here in the White Mountains. This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Good hiking is available along the White Ledge Trail, and a good site to camp here at Iona Lake is Eastern Slope Camping Area.

to stay Luxury Mountain Getaways is a delightful choice. This lake is so wonderful. For you golfers we recommend close by North Conway Country Club; Merrill Farm Resort is a great place to get some rest.
These mountains rock,
just explore all the exciting things to do in the White Mountains. Camping at Pine Knoll Camp Ground and RV Resort is always a good experience, and Lovejoy Marsh is a swamp close to Iona Lake. Iona Lake sees pretty high levels of
precipitation; through the month of November you get the most rain around here, and September meanwhile is the driest month. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Iona Lake. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. For the period
of the winter this place gets highs in the 20's; night lows at Iona Lake through the wintertime commonly fall into the 0's.
