If you are in Carroll county it's always a good idea to stop by Iona Lake. Some of the water close by flows, like Meadow Brook, and you can hit the slopes at Attitash Bear Peak in the neighborhood. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Iona Lake; Carter Ledge Trail is a wonderful local trail, and glide down the rapids of Swift River in a kayak. precipitation; through the month of November you get the most rain around here, and September meanwhile is the driest month. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Iona Lake. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. For the period
of the winter this place gets highs in the 20's; night lows at Iona Lake through the wintertime commonly fall into the 0's.
