If you are in Carroll county it's always a good idea to stop by Iona Lake. This lake is located in the wonderful White Mountains. For the duration of the months of summer, highs frequently are in the 80's at Iona Lake, and the overnight is a tad colder of course, commonly in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's while Iona Lake night low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 0's. Having a great time in the White Mountains is simple.

| | Hiking along the Piper Trail is splendid fun; if you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Swift River.
Man, is there a lot of cool things to do right next door to Iona Lake. The White Ledge Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. The slopes of Attitash Bear Peak are so inviting noone can resist, and swamps don’t sound that good but Lovejoy Marsh next to Iona Lake is relatively good. But wait, there's | |

more exciting things to do in the White Mountains. The peak of Birch Hill can be distinguished from Iona Lake, and Iona Lake is right by the Carter Ledge Trail.
All the water falling down from the sky makes Iona Lake a wet spot;
November is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is September. This lake is so wonderful. Stonehurst Manor is a brilliant spot to get some rest, and since you're here at Iona Lake, checking out White Ledge is a must.
Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this place. Eastern Slope Camping Area is a fine campground here; enjoy a round of golf at North Conway Country Club.
Cranmore Mountain is a perfect local ski area; a magnificent close by
hotel is White Deer Motel. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore close by Back Pond, and camping at Iona Lake is pleasant fun, Pine Knoll Camp Ground and RV Resort is a pleasant local campground. Whitewater
paddling is delightful on Lovell River, and naturally Meadow Brook is a lovely stream that is worth stopping at.
