     You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Cranmore Mountain since you're here; you can have a pleasant hiking adventure along the White Ledge Trail. So much cool stuff to do here in the White Mountains, too good to be true. If the weather is good here at Iona Lake, you can go for a hike along the Piper Trail; if you need a spot to stay Attitash Mountain Village Resort is a great choice. It's a great idea to have a look at Meadow Brook, it's  
   in the vicinity of Iona Lake; paddling on Swift River is so much fun.
Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining things in the White Mountains. Summertime highs at Iona Lake generally tend to be in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Iona Lake are in the 0's. Iona Lake is one of the lakes here in the White Mountains.
 
               And if you're still looking for more outdoors enjoyable stuff just keep reading. You'll discover a wonderful lake called Whitton Pond near Iona Lake, and get wet paddling on Lovell River. This lake is so wonderful. A round of golf at nearby North Conway Country Club is a nice way to kill some time, and the sight of Birch Hill is lovely. All year is a great time in the White Mountains if you go for the outdoors. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Iona Lake has to offer, you can camp at Pine Knoll Camp Ground and RV Resort, and stop at nearby Lovejoy Marsh.
And if that's not enough, there's loads more to do near Iona Lake. Going for a hike along the Carter Ledge Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and some attention-grabbing geology is available here, White Ledge is right here. Skiing at Attitash Bear Peak is one of those things you just ought to do. There's so much to do here at Iona Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Eastern Slope Camping Area is a good spot for that. Iona Lake generally gets a great deal of rainfall; November is the wettest month with most rain; September meanwhile is the driest month.
This lake is so wonderful. Do stop by Back Pond in close proximity to Iona Lake, it's a gorgeous lake; dry warm beds await you at Merrill Farm Resort.
