You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting stuff in the White Mountains. Iona Lake is located in the White Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Golf can be played at North Conway Country Club, and a day on the slopes of Attitash Bear Peak is just what you need. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Lovell River; Luxury Mountain Getaways is a pleasant location       to get some rest. This place, Iona Lake, it completely has so much outdoors fun stuff. After a long day outdoors Merrill Farm Resort is a wonderful site to spend a night or two, and there are some great whitewater spots on Swift River. That right there is lots of enjoyable things already but it goes on, the White Mountains has it all. There's so much to do here at Iona Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Pine Knoll Camp Ground and RV Resort is a great location                  for that, and going for a hike on the Carter Ledge Trail is always a perfect adventure. A quick spree to Meadow Brook in the vicinity of Iona Lake is a nice idea, and a gorgeous lake like Back Pond is a wonderful location to check out. This lake is so wonderful. One of the principal features of the surroundings of Iona Lake is Birch Hill, and close by you hit upon the White Ledge Trail which is a brilliant hiking trail. Yeah, come here to Iona Lake for a pleasant time. Head up to Cranmore Mountain and strap some skis to your feet; you can go for a hike on the Piper Trail. Be careful coming to the White Mountains, you might not ever wanna go home again. Don't miss out on a good swamp; Lovejoy Marsh is right here at Iona Lake, and a cool spot to have a look at is White Ledge. Whitton Pond is a tremendous lake close to Iona Lake; if you came to camp Eastern Slope Camping Area is a great place to do that. For the period of the summertime highs here at Iona Lake reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Iona Lake.
