So many enjoyable things to do at Ice Pond, so little time. There's fine hiking along the Fishin Jimmy Trail, and folks from Berlin love to come here. This lake is so wonderful. Gale River is a splendid whitewater spot close to Ice Pond; skiing at Burke Mountain is one of those things you just should do. A tremendous location for whitewater paddling near Ice Pond is Ammonoosuc       River, and Ice Pond is not the only spot nearby, Dells Pond is a nearby lake. All through the summertime at Ice Pond temperatures are mostly in the 70's. Summer night lows sink down to the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are ordinarily in the 20's with temperatures at Ice Pond dipping down into the-10's during winter nights. From a rain point of view Ice Pond is a rather common location; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February meanwhile                  is the driest month. If you need a spot to stay Continental 93 Travelers Inn is a splendid choice, and don't leave Ice Pond without first going for a hike along the Jericho Road Trail. Country Squire Motel is a good spot to get some rest, and wonderful water scenery is available at Ice Pond Dam close to Ice Pond. This lake is so wonderful. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Cannon Mountain if you're here, and you can go for a hike on the Mount Kinsman Trail. A golf course in the neighborhood of Ice Pond is Lisbon Village Country Club, and camping at White Birches Camping Park is always a perfect experience. Just can't get enough of Ice Pond.
