Many people like to go to Ice Pond. Throughout the summer at Ice Pond highs are commonly in the 70's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Ice Pond. Get your heart pumping on the tremendous whitewater of Pemigewasset River - Hancock Br., and there are good places to look at along the Osseo Trail.

And if that's not sufficient there's lots more enjoyable things to do in the White Mountains. It's always fine to check out Franconia Falls; you can run the rapids of Pemigewasset River - East Branch. Now, you may believe that's a load but there's even more entertaining things to do here in the White Mountains. If you came to camp Hancock Campground is a brilliant place to do that; going for a hike on the Franconia
Brook Trail is always a great adventure. But wait, there's more to do near Ice Pond. A lake nearby is Black Pond; what would winter be without some skiing at Waterville Valley. This lake is so wonderful. Ice Pond is magnificent enough
to spend more than a day at, Campers World Campground is a magnificent local campground, and dry warm beds await you at Village Of Loon Mountain (Vri).
Ice Pond is one of the lakes here in the White Mountains. This lake is so
wonderful. After a long day outdoors Nordic Inn is a delightful place to spend a night or two, and getting to Birch Island Brook from Ice Pond is simple.
