Mount Sunapee is a good location to do that. Northstar Campground is a delightful campground nearby, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Slot Trail. All through the days of summer at Hurd Pond temperatures are frequently in the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. For the period of the winter highs       are frequently in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Hurd Pond. Yeah, come here to Hurd Pond for a pleasant time. At Hurd Pond you can distinguish Beckwith Hill, and hiking along the Monadnock Sunapee Trail is good fun. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore nearby Cold Brook Pond, and there are some splendid whitewater spots on Sugar River. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are wonderful; Gilman Pond is a lake that's in the vicinity of Hurd Pond, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Beaver Brook.
