An average amount of rainfall falls at Huntoon Pond; the month with most of the rain is May while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff in the White Mountains. Poverty Pond is a nearby lake that you could have a look at; Dickinson Hill can be seen from       Huntoon Pond. Smith River has a perfect whitewater paddling spot close by, and Huntoon Pond is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Bear Mountain Rustic Campground LLC is a pleasant local campground. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Comfort Inn Ashland is a nice choice, and if you came to camp Camp Kenwood & Evergreen is a splendid place to do that. Throughout the warm days of summer, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Huntoon Pond,                  and the nighttime is a bit colder of course, generally in the 50's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 20's, and nighttime lows at Huntoon Pond all through the winter typically fall into the 0's. A delightful nearby hotel is Red Carpet Inn and Suites Plymouth. This lake is so wonderful. There is a brilliant hiking trail in the neighborhood of Huntoon Pond called the Melton Falls Trail, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Tenney Mountain is relatively near. Huntoon Pond is a beautiful lake in the White Mountains. If you love the outdoors you'll love it here in the White Mountains. Going for a hike on the Holt Trail is always a pleasant adventure; the snow is good at Ragged Mountain. And that's not all you can do here at Huntoon Pond.
