     The beauty of Horseshoe Pond attracts many people from all around. The high level of rainfall makes Horseshoe Pond a relatively wet place; the wettest month of the year is generally November, that's the one that rains the most while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. An afternoon playing golf at Beaver Meadow Golf Course is always a joy; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we  
   recommend Merrimack River. If you came to camp Cascade Park Campground is a perfect spot to do that, and hiking along the Broken Boulder Smith Pond Trail is nice fun.
Rum Hill is wonderful and can be spotted from Horseshoe Pond, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Pats Peak. Through the warm days of summer at Horseshoe Pond highs are usually in the 80's; all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the period of
 
               the winter highs are in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Horseshoe Pond are in the 0's. If you want a delightful time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Horseshoe Pond. Camping at Twin Oaks Campground is always a magnificent experience; a splendid close by hotel is Courtyard By Marriott Concord.
This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Horseshoe Pond, you could also have a look at pretty Fort Eddy, and Horseshoe Pond is right by the Catamount Trail. Looking for some flowing water? Try Bowen Brook, and after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Concord, NH is a delightful location to spend a night or two. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing stuff at Horseshoe Pond.
McIntyre is a very popular ski area in the neighborhood, and the Onemile Trail offers hiking at its best. If you're visiting Horseshoe Pond from Concord, you won't be the only one, and get your heart pumping on the great whitewater of Piscataquog River.
