It's always fun to stop by Horseshoe Pond. A beautiful lake like Laurel Lake in close proximity to Horseshoe Pond is a great place to take a look at, and going for a hike on the Marlboro Trail is always a pleasant adventure. You get a great panorama of Hayden Hill from Horseshoe Pond; you can go for a hike on the Farmers Trail. night at State Line Campground, and magnificent skiing awaits you at Crotched Mountain. Get covered with water paddling on Millers River, and why not stop by Horseshoe Pond Dam while you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Horseshoe
Pond is a great place to camp, Laurel Lake Campgrounds is a great place, and you can never get enough of the good skiing at Pine Ridge. Throughout the months of summer here at Horseshoe Pond, high temperatures regularly get into
the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 30's, and night lows at Horseshoe Pond throughout the wintertime frequently descend into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful.
There are plenty of folks from Keene here at Horseshoe Pond, and paddling on Ashuelot River - South Branch is so much fun.
