| | on the White Arrow Trail. All the outdoors entertaining things near Horseshoe Pond will keep you coming back persistently. Horseshoe Pond is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, State Line Campground is a pleasant local campground. Why not stop by Horseshoe Pond Dam if you're here, and skiing at Pine Ridge is one of those things you just have to do. This is a perfect vicinity for people who like lakes. temperatures are usually in the 80's while nighttime lows are generally in the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 30's while Horseshoe Pond night low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 0's. Really glorious
skiing awaits you at Crotched Mountain, and going for a hike on the Marlboro Trail is always a great adventure. From a precipitation point of view Horseshoe Pond is a quite typical spot; the month with most of the rain is May, and
the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Farmers Trail, and if you're going to from Keene, you won't be the only one. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's
for you then we recommend Ashuelot River - South Branch; you're almost certainly into lakes, Sportsman Pond is one of those nearby.
