Hopkinton Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. A day on the slopes of Pats Peak is just what you need, and hiking along the Old Country Road is wonderful fun. The Henniker Motel is a nice location to get some rest, and going for a hike along the Wilmot Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. For the duration of the warmest time of the year here at Hopkinton Lake, high temperatures typically reach the 80's.

| | For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Hopkinton Lake plunge into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. The skiing at Crotched Mountain is fine, and Carr Pond is a nearby lake that you could go to. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this location. and camping is available at Sandy Beach Family Campground. Man, is there lots of amusing stuff to do near Hopkinton Lake. Clement Hill is trouble-free to spot from Hopkinton Lake, and do check out Contoocook River Reservoir, it's
a wonderful lake. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is great on Blackwater River; why not camp at Keyser Pond Campground since you're here at Hopkinton Lake. While you're here at Hopkinton Lake you can take a hike
along the Wapack Trail, and after a long day outdoors The Centennial is a magnificent place to spend a night or two. During your trip to Hopkinton Lake you'll meet some folks from Concord for sure, and while you're here and you
like golf, you can stop at Duston Country Club Golf Course. Contoocook River has a wonderful whitewater paddling spot close by, and a forest close by is Ames State Forest. Hopkinton Lake gets a large amount of water; all through the month of November you get the most rain around here, and January on the other hand is the driest.
