    A visit to Honey Pot Pond is always a good idea. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting stuff at Honey Pot Pond. Pats Peak has tremendous slopes and a friendly staff. If you want a glorious time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Honey Pot Pond. People from Manchester-Nashua love to come to Honey Pot Pond; after a long day outdoors Fairfield Inn By Marriott Merrimack is a glorious site to spend a night or two. This lake is so  
   wonderful. If you came to camp Field & Stream Travel Trailer is a perfect place to do that, and there's whitewater on Piscataquog River for all you adrenaline junkies.
Honey Pot Pond generally gets a large amount of rain; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is September. Lakes? Sure, Little Honey Pot Pond is nearby, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at close by McIntyre. Good
 
               hiking is available along the Old Country Road, and a glorious close by hotel is Crowne Plaza Hotel Nashua, Nh.
You can take a little journey to Farley Brook Dam since you're here at Honey Pot Pond, and you can run the rapids of Piscataquog River - South Branch. Take a little journey to Beaver Brook while you're here at Honey Pot Pond; Stump Pond is a glorious lake close by. High temperatures at Honey Pot Pond through the warm days of summer are in the 80's. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 50's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 20's, and nighttime lows throughout the winter for Honey Pot Pond tend to be in the 10's.
This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Honey Pot Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Field and Stream Travel Trailer Park is a good spot for that, and do take some time to have a look at Hodgman State Forest while you're here. Soughegan Woods Golf Club is a golf course in the vicinity of Honey Pot Pond, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Honey Pot Pond; Mitchell Hill Road is a good local trail.

Locust Pond is a lake that was formed in 1954 by the creation of the Locust Pond Dam on Locust Brook, which flows from the Locust Pond to the larger Merrimack River. Locust Pond is considered a lake because Mass Regs (310 CMR 10.04) state that a lake is ?any open body of fresh water with a surface area of ten acres or more, and shall include great ponds. The site is bordered by Locust Avenue and light residential development to the northwest, and Route 3 to the southwest. The other half of the perimeter is bordered by dense development. The pond is mostly open water with no emergent marsh development. The upland is all forested. The habitat quality of this site is limited by the development surrounding it, however, it should provide at least transient habitat for aquatic mammals such as beaver, otter, and mink, and many of the upland mammals and migratory songbirds of forested habitats....
