Gould Hill is a peak you can distinguish from Hogback Pond, and if you came for an overnight stay Field'n Forest Recreation Area is a great location to camp. Get drenched paddling on Contoocook River, and swamps are exciting places and Spruce Swamp close to Hogback Pond is no exception. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is good on Stony Brook, and a lake nearby is Otter Brook Pond.       An average amount of rain falls at Hogback Pond; the wettest month of the year is regularly November, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is January. This lake is so wonderful. Hogback Pond is not the only place nearby, Mud Pond is a nearby lake, and if the weather is glorious, you can go for a hike along the Mitchell Hill Road. A delightful beach in the neighborhood of Hogback Pond is Campers Beach, and lots of people from                  Manchester-Nashua come here. Throughout the long summer days at Hogback Pond temperatures are usually in the 70's while nighttime lows are typically in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Hogback Pond. So many exciting things to do at Hogback Pond, so little time. Everybody close by loves skiing at Crotched Mountain, and on a perfect day you can take a hike along the Parker Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Colonial Hotel is a magnificent choice; going for a hike along the Wapack Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. Just can't get enough of Hogback Pond. Camping is available at Seven Maples Campground; dry warm beds await you at The Henniker Motel. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Monadnock Country Club; there's some exciting stuff to see at Mill Race Dam near Hogback Pond. Gotta ski!
