And if that's not enough, there's a load more to do near Hodges Millpond. If you need a place to stay Salem Red Roof Inn is a great choice, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Hodges Millpond; Catamount Trail is a great local trail. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Bradford while you're       here; float down the rapids of Concord River in a kayak. If only every location had this much outdoors amusing stuff, what a great world it would be. Wash Pond Dam is worth stopping at if you're here, and Hog Hill is pretty and can be seen from here. This lake is so wonderful. A lake nearby is Hog Hill Pond, and golf can be played at Atkinson Country Club. Skiing at McIntyre is one of those things you just should do, and Boulder Cove is not far at all. This                  lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Sunset Park is a tremendous place to camp, of course you could also stop at Johnsons Pond while you're here; it's not far at all. Why not camp at Sanborn Shore Acres if you're here at Hodges Millpond, and there's great hiking along the Broken Boulder Smith Pond Trail. Throughout the summertime months at Hodges Millpond highs are commonly in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. During the wintertime highs are mostly in the 30's, and night lows in the 10's for Hodges Millpond. The fine people of Boston-Cambridge-Quincy like to hang out close by; Holiday Inn SALEM (I-93 AT EXIT 2) is a brilliant location to get some rest.
