There's no way somebody can get bored here in the White Mountains. Peabody River - West Branch is a glorious whitewater spot near Hermit Lake; if you came for an overnight stay Dry River Campground is a fine site to camp. If you need a location to stay Bretton Arms Country Inn is a great choice; hey, Cutler River is a nice local stream. Through the warm months here at Hermit Lake, high temperatures ordinarily       reach the 80's. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 50's. During the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 20's; nighttime lows in the 0's for Hermit Lake. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. You might want to pay a visit to Gulf Of Slides while you're here at Hermit Lake, and why not camp at Timberland Camping Area if you're here at Hermit Lake. So much exciting stuff to do in the White Mountains, not enough time. In case you don’t have a                  problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Dry River, and close by you stumble on the Alpine Garden Trail which is a good hiking trail. Hermit Lake is located in the White Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. The summit of Boott Spur can be made out from Hermit Lake, and going for a hike on the Glen Boulder Trail is always a splendid adventure. The Boott Spur Trail is a fine hiking trail near Hermit Lake; you can never get enough of the great skiing at Attitash Bear Peak. Man, is there plenty of enjoyable stuff to do close to Hermit Lake. Looking for something right next door to Hermit Lake? Lakes of the Clouds is close at hand, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Wildcat since you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Hermit Lake is in a perfect location in the shadow of the White Mountains; Hermit Lake is not the only place nearby, Spaulding Lake is a nearby lake. Nestlenook Farm Resort is a pleasant place to get some rest, and no need to travel far to explore interesting stuff like Ball Crag. Yep, outdoors cool stuff truly is plentiful here in the White Mountains.
