Going for a hike on the Alpine Garden Trail is always a splendid adventure, and a good location to camp here at Hermit Lake is Dry River Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Wildcat has brilliant slopes and a friendly
staff, and dry warm beds await you at Bretton Arms Country Inn. Attitash Bear Peak is a very popular ski area in the neighborhood, and it's a good idea to take a look at Cutler River. Having a glorious time at Hermit Lake is painless.
