A lake close by is Lamb Valley Pond; Mollidgewock Campground is a great campground nearby. East Horne Brook is one of the streams nearby that might be worth going to; the sight of pretty Round Mountain is fine. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. Budget Inn Berlin Nr White MT is a wonderful spot to get some rest, of course you could also stop at Shehan Pond since you're       here; it's not far at all. All the water falling down from the sky makes Hell Gate Pond a wet place; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. For the duration of the long summer days highs here at Hell Gate Pond reach the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Hell Gate Pond. All                  year is a fine time in the White Mountains if you go for the outdoors. Finnsons Cliff is a glorious place to explore while in the neighborhood, and Diamond River is a glorious whitewater spot nearby. The White Mountains scenery is always beautiful. What a site this is for outdoors people. In case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Magalloway River, and Hell Gate Pond is a fine site to visit for more than one day, Log Haven Campground is a fine site to camp nearby.
