Get dripping wet paddling on Pemigewasset River, and not far from Heath Pond you'll find Peaked Hill Pond which is a gorgeous lake. This lake is so wonderful. R & B Camp Baggage is a tremendous campground nearby; if you like skiing, you're in luck; Loon Mountain is rather near. Be careful coming to the White Mountains, you might not ever wanna return home again. A wonderful nearby hotel is Red Carpet Inn and Suites Plymouth, and Peaked Hill can be made out from Heath Pond. Summertime highs at Heath Pond typically tend to be in the 70's with overnight lows in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Heath Pond temperatures drop to the 0's.
