It's always fun to stop by Heath Pond. The high level of rain makes Heath Pond a rather wet spot; November is the wettest month with most rain, and January meanwhile is the driest month. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by King Pine, and camping is available at Ossipee Lake Camping Area. Going for a hike on the Piper Trail is always a great adventure. a glorious whitewater spot nearby. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Heath Pond while overnight lows are typically in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 20's with temperatures at Heath
Pond dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Danforth Bay Camping Resort while you're here at Heath Pond, and golf can be played at Indian Mound Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful.
The White Ledge Trail is a nice hiking trail in close proximity to Heath Pond, and after a long day outdoors Wolfeboro Inn is a good spot to spend a night or two. Heath Pond is located in the White Mountains. All the outdoors
enjoyable things in the White Mountains will keep you coming back persistently. Near Heath Pond you locate the Weetamoo Trail which is a nice hiking trail; Beech River is one of the streams close by that might be worth checking out.
