Head Pond is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Black Mountain, and you can run the rapids of Androscoggin River. If you want a glorious time in the great outdoors just come on up to the White Mountains. Stay the night at Nay Pond Campground, and hiking along the Ice Gulch Path is magnificent fun. here in the White Mountains. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a fine time here at Head Pond. Head Pond is a good location to visit for more than one day, Cedar Pond Campground is a good location to camp nearby, and why not take a little spree to Jericho Brook if you're here.
