Beautiful Hayes Swamp has much to offer visitors. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Hayes Swamp; Catamount Trail is a delightful local trail; if you need a place to stay Eagle's Nest Motor Lodge is a wonderful choice. Hayes Swamp is right by the Broken Boulder Smith Pond Trail, and people from Laconia love to come here. Stay the night at Twin Oaks Campground, and swing by Catamount Brook it's a good spot to take a look at.

| | This lake is so wonderful. The Onemile Trail offers hiking at its best, and paddling on Little Suncook is so much fun. Summertime highs at Hayes Swamp ordinarily tend to be in the 80's. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's while Hayes Swamp nighttime low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 0's.
