A visit to Hayes Swamp is always a good idea. This lake is so wonderful. There are brilliant places to look at along the Catamount Trail; Candia Woods Golf Links is a great golf course close by. Be careful coming to Hayes Swamp, you might not ever want to go home again. Go for a hike on the Onemile Trail; there are some perfect whitewater spots on Suncook River. Good hiking is available along the Broken Boulder Smith Pond Trail; perfect skiing awaits you at McIntyre.

| | While you're here at Hayes Swamp, you could also stop by wonderful Dubes Pond, and why not go to Hayes Swamp Dam since you're here. While you're here at Hayes Swamp you will meet lots of folks from close by Laconia; a great site to camp here at Hayes Swamp is Circle 9 Ranch Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Hayes Swamp gets a typical amount of annual precipitation; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and January meanwhile is the driest month. If you want a tremendous time in the great
outdoors, just come on down to Hayes Swamp. There's some flowing water nearby, Catamount Brook is a stream you can visit while you're here, and from Hayes Swamp you acquire a splendid sight of Bear Hill.
Hayes Swamp is glorious
enough to spend more than a day at, Twin Oaks Campground is a glorious local campground; dry warm beds await you at Red Roof Inn Loudon. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Hayes Swamp. When the night sets in temperatures sink down
into the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 20's with temperatures at Hayes Swamp dipping down into the 0's all through winter nights.
