     Hawkins Pond is a nice lake to visit. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore nearby Bear Pond, and Hawkins Pond is right by the Ramsey Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Hawkins Pond; The Wall Trail is a splendid local trail, and if you need a spot to stay The Summit Resort is a good choice. And if that's not enough there's a heap more entertaining things to do in the White Mountains. Get yourself  
   into a kayak and hit Mad River, and Hawkins Pond is not far at all from Laconia.
Throughout the days of summer highs here at Hawkins Pond get into the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Hawkins Pond. Hawkins Pond sees pretty high levels of rain; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest of the months is February.
 
               This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Bethel woods Campground; since you're here and you like golf, you can explore Oak Hill Golf Course.
Now, you may imagine that's heaps but there's even more fun things to do here in the White Mountains. The snow is good at Tenney Mountain, and dry warm beds await you at The Inns & Spa at Mill Falls. The White Mountains scenery is always beautiful. The Prospect Trail offers hiking at its best, and from Hawkins Pond you obtain a fine sight of Beech Hill.
Hawkins Pond truly is in the middle of a picturesque outdoors paradise. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Gunstock is right next door to Hawkins Pond. What a location this is for outdoors people. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Hawkins Pond has to offer, you can camp at Squam Lakes Camp Resorts, and an interesting thing to take a look at close to Hawkins Pond is Hawkins Pond Dam. Float down the rapids of Beebe River in a kayak, and as expected, this is a great area for people who like lakes, Winona Lake is a lake close by.

I went to this mountain with my school and it was a really fun expiernce and I am planning to go back with my school some time soon.......ired ski industry veteran Bob Fries as president and general manager to implement the necessary changes. Fries has an impressive resume with 35 years in the ski resort business including five years as owner and president of Bolton Valley, president of Stratton Mountain in Vermont, and president of Breckenridge in Colorado.
With Fries as the new president, Ragged Mountain applied to Audubon International to become a Certified Silver Signature Sanctuary. Audubon International only accepts applications for this level of certification when it can be involved before the construction of infrastructure has begun in order to provide critical input in the design phase, and guidance as the design takes the form of construction. Ragged Mountain has been accepted into the Signature Sanctuary program.
By the end of last season the resort was receiving numerous unsolicited positive testimonials about the new Ragged Mountain. Ragged Mountain's skier days increased substantially as people heard about the positive changes the resort had implemented. Opening day is anticipated to be November,...

I ski there almost every day of the winter. Ive been snowboarding there for 8 years. They acualy have 6 trails with over 20 acres of riding, and 2 rope tows. They have a 1000,and a 150 ft rope tow. They have a small asortment of freestyle terain and snowmaking.
