And that's not all there is to do here in the White Mountains. If you like swamps, you're in luck, Lovejoy Marsh is right nearby, and whitewater paddling is fine on Swift River. Pine Knoll Camp Ground and RV Resort is a delightful local campground; the sight of wonderful Pine Hill is delightful. Just can't get enough of the White Mountains. Haunted Pond is a magnificent place to visit       for more than one day, Eastern Slope Camping Area is a magnificent place to camp nearby, and Cranmore Mountain is a very popular ski area in the neighborhood. This lake is so wonderful. There's magnificent hiking along the Piper Trail, and paddling on Lovell River is so much fun. White Ledge is a great location to go to while in the region, and if you've had enough of Haunted Pond, Back Pond is close by. Haunted Pond is a beautiful lake in the White Mountains.                  All the water falling down from the sky makes Haunted Pond a wet spot; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and September meanwhile is the driest month. Summertime highs at Haunted Pond frequently tend to be in the 80's while overnight lows are typically in the 50's.
