Go to Hatch Pond if you want to go to a nice lake. At Hatch Pond throughout the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's while night lows are usually in the 50's. Through the winter highs are ordinarily in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Hatch Pond descend into the 0's. You get a wonderful sight of Atkinson Mountain from Hatch Pond, and if you need a spot to stay Merrill Farm Resort is a magnificent choice. The high level of rain makes Hatch Pond a pretty wet site; November is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is September. of year, Swift River offers some good whitewater. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Hatch Pond has to offer, you can camp at Camp Tohkomeupog. There's so much to do here at Hatch Pond that you need to camp here for

Grand Hotel is a good place to get some rest; Cranmore Mountain is a very popular ski area in the neighborhood. This is no spot for people who don’t like to have a good time. Near Hatch Pond you come across the Mount Pequawket Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Ossipee River.
