The beauty of Hartshorn Pond is reason enough to stop by. This lake is so wonderful. There are some great whitewater spots on Piscataquog River - South Branch; Hartshorn Pond is right by the Mitchell Hill Road. For the period of the warm months highs here at Hartshorn Pond get into the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Hartshorn Pond are in the 10's.

September is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
An afternoon playing golf at Buckmeadow Golf Club is always a bliss, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Old Country Road. Jew Pond is a nearby lake that
you could explore, and you're sure to run into some wonderful people from Manchester-Nashua here. Hartshorn Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Friendly Beaver Camp Ground is a great local campground, and what would
winter be without some skiing at Pats Peak.
No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a fine time here at Hartshorn Pond. Gotta ski! McIntyre is a splendid site to do that, and after a long day outdoors Harrison's Cottages is a fine site to spend a night or two.
