Harris Pond is a nice lake to visit. Poplar Hill is clearly visible from Harris Pond; Harris Pond is right by the Campground Trail. From a precipitation point of view Harris Pond is a reasonably typical spot; November is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month of the year is February. Not far from Harris Pond you obtain some great water scenery at Peters Pond Dam; you can stay the night at Escambuit Campground.

You'll need more than a day to discover everything Harris Pond has to offer, you can camp at Sanborn Shore Acres; not far from Harris Pond you'll hit upon Forest Lake which is a picturesque lake. Throughout the summer
at Harris Pond highs are mostly in the 80's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's while the cold winter nights at Harris Pond are in the 0's. Yep, outdoors amusing stuff to do

the rapids of Merrimack River in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Concord River is so much fun, and there are other locations here than Harris Pond, for example Shadow Lake.
