A perfect close by hotel is Woodwards Resort, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to close by Echo Lake. Good hiking is available along the Kinsman Ridge Trail, and why not head up to Loon Mountain and strap some skis to your feet. All the outdoors cool stuff in the White Mountains will keep you coming back repeatedly. If you need       a spot to stay Beacon Resort is a great choice, and if you came for an overnight stay Lost River Valley Campground is a good place to camp. Take a side trip to Eliza Brook, and the Kinsman Pond Trail offers hiking at its best. Through the summer here at Harrington Pond, high temperatures usually get into the 70's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's; overnight lows in the 0's for Harrington                  Pond. Whohoo, so many fun things in one place! Harrington Pond is so good! Camping is available at Lafayette Campground; hiking is a popular thing to do around Harrington Pond; Reel Brook Trail is a great local trail.
