Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing things in the vicinity of Hall Pond. Holiday Inn Express Springfield, Vt is a great place to get some rest, and the Hang Glider Trail is a brilliant hiking trail nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Perry Mountain is simple       to spot from Hall Pond; if you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cold River. Dry warm beds await you at Rodeway Inn Claremont, and some fine nature is available in Hubbard Hill State Forest. What a location this is for outdoors people. All through the warm days of summer here at Hall Pond, high temperatures generally get into the 80's while night lows are typically in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come                  with highs in the 20's; through the dark hours in the wintertime at Hall Pond temperatures descend to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Hall Pond that you need to camp here for a while, The Farm Campground is a wonderful place for that. Lakes are delightful; Chatterton Pond is a lake that's near Hall Pond. Hall Pond is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Tree Farm Campground is a magnificent local campground; of course, this is a wonderful region for people who like lakes, Clay Brook Reservoir is a lake in the vicinity. Gotta ski! Ascutney is a good location to do that, and going for a hike along the Futures Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. Hall Pond is a quite wet place generally with much precipitation; May is the wettest month with most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
