Halfmile Pond is not far at all from Lebanon, and dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Lebanon/Hanover. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Dartmouth Outing Club Trail is always a great adventure, and lakes are such calm locations, why not have a look at Smith Pond. The panorama of delightful Montcalm Hill near Halfmile Pond is great, and get your heart       beating on the glorious whitewater of Mascoma River. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the West Ridge Trail, and why not camp at Mascoma Lake Campground since you're here at Halfmile Pond. The skiing at Mount Sunapee is pleasant, and you'll hit upon a gorgeous lake called Butternut Pond. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors amusing things the area close to Halfmile Pond has to offer.
